This picture relates to both Cabeza de Vaca and life today. The picture illustrates a married man leaving his wife depressed to run off with another woman. Cabeza de Vaca told us that me will leave their wives directly after an argument and connect with another woman right away. Since their are no children in the picture then I'm assuming that they none. The picture also depicts a man of higher status. He is the ruler and can do whatever he pleases. It also says in the letters that men would fist-fight until exhausted which tells that they are trying to show how big and bad they can be. This does not only relate to people of then but now as well. Then men wouldn't leave their wives if children were born. Nowadays you have kids without dads because they leave and hook up with other people and never come back. When parents get into arguments, instead of sitting down and talking about it, they just take matters into their own hands and just run off and be with other girls. I don't think that any of this is right whether it be if you have kids or not. You married the woman your with for a reason and should stay that way.
